About

I’ve always had a passion for the written word and have spent a great deal of my life reading anything I can get my hands on from Sci-Fi, to PNR, to sweet women’s fiction. I love anything with more than a hint of romance and live for a good HEA.
When I’m not escaping into the fictional world, I’m reading books on craft, or writing blogs to support authors in improving their craft. You can also find me in social media groups interacting with the author and reader community and, of course, talking about … books.
My approach to editing
What makes books so interesting and exciting for me is the different styles and approaches to writing. And my personal editing style reflects that feeling. I believe, as your editor, my job is to edit with care and empathy and work together with you to help your manuscript shine—without changing your voice.
I will leave suggestions and information in your manuscript for you to consider, with clear explanations to the reason behind my changes so you can make an informed decision as to whether it is the right change for your author voice.
I am a member of CIEP (Chartered Institute of Editors and Proofreaders), so you can be assured that you are working with an editor who adheres to standards set by professional bodies.
Certifications in Editing
